Jour Quinze

So I'm skipping yesterday's blog for two reasons, one I totally forgot to take photos and two I'm super behind and want to catch up on my veganism and not teeter out like I did last time!

I'll sum it up for you though, Film Production meeting (awesome), Photoshoot with Jason Corica (awesome), Watching madmen with Micah B (awesome), drinking one or two too many old fashions (awesome)(at the time).

I woke up Monday morning at 6AM on Micah's couch and without a hangover thank god. Because it turns out old fashions + Chips and guacmole + more old fashions + sauteed veggies + more old fashions = Drunkity DRUNK CRUNK DRUNK. ....who knew?

So I made my way home in walk of shame clothes from Not a Walk of Shame (I miss those days) home sweet home. To a still not purple wall.

Today for breakfast I decided to switch it up and go for some hipster vegan cereal. And low and behold I found out that Puffin's one of my favorite cereals is NOT Vegan. BooOoOOoOo. So instead went for some apple cheerios, fruit. YUM.

The big news for today is Sean is coming into town this weekend!!! yay!! So stoked to plan rio and have an all around blast with one of my favorite people. Chant it with me, rio. Rio. RIo. RIOO!!!!!

Today for lunch I ordered from Swingers, a place that I've been meaning to re-try for a while. I went once a million years ago for Trevor Cushman's birthday party at like 2AM and had a blast, but that was like three years ago. And I have to say, I was NOT let down.

And while we're on the subject: YOU'RE LIKE A BIG BEAR.

I got some vegan nachos, not because I necessarily wanted them, but because they were there. (and also because I ate fruit for breakfast.) and you know what. They were prrreettttty bomb. Not like blown away, socks knocked off like Hugo's, but still dank. Yeah, figure out those adjectives in zagat form.

And today is day 15, which makes it the halfway point of veganism! WOO! Go, Sassy, go! Go Vegan go! However, I do feel like I don't think I'm going to stick with this....there's just certain things I miss..like cheese....mmmm and eggs....mmmmm.....Although I DO think I'll continue blogging, it will just be about being a vegetarian instead of being vegan, I mean to the same effect right? It's still savin da animals!

Now I finally have the opportunity to talk about my french class....mostly because I have nothing dramatic to write about in this thing. ...OR that I care to share with the public (ooooo, maybe something IS going on that I'm not telling you about! TWIST)

Back to French. You might ask, why am I taking college classes? I'll tell you why. there's a trick that I'm totally okay with admitting that if you want to defer your student loans all you have to do is enroll in school part-time, so I have been attending Santa Monica college since finishing up at Chapman University in 2008. Wow look at me go, belonging to TWO universities, sooo smart! (not really, just broke. Well..kinda smart, but definitely broke.)

It has been shocking to me though, the level of education that the majority of the kids I interact with have had. It's really appalling. In one history class I took about half of the class didn't know what Pangaea is, and we're talking about grown adults here. And yet the government still wants to keep cutting funding for our education system. Yes, that's smart guys, just raise a breed of brainless sheep to be patriotic and vote for Sarah Palin.

In one of the classes that I was in, these two kids just sat in the back talking, almost OVER the teacher. Not only was it distracting, it was just remarkably rude. And the teacher just let it happen. Finally I was the one that turned around and told them to Shut the Fuck up (only slightly nicer then that.) I'm going to quit now, it just makes me so sad to think what this country is doing to the general population in denying them the education that they deserved.

But don't forget to vote for Mitt Romney this fall! We sure do NEED OUR EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TRIMMED.

On another note, did you know cell phones are totally allowed in classrooms now? Instead of writing down homework, kids do this.

WHERE'S MY PURPLE WALL!?!?!??

Over & out.
