Tree Leaves - 1 Day Left

We're here. The big LAST DAY. Last Day. Last Super. Last everything. Noooooooo. But I love the animals so much.

INSANITY WORK OUT DAY 42!! YAH P0WN IT. I'll tell you exactly what I did for breakfast too. Dairy McDairy Dairy. It was engligh muffin, some mayo, some cheese with crushed red pepper on it. Talk about delicious, YES PLEASE.

Today Michele is out which is super sad, but luckily I have Valerie to keep me company up front for the next couple days. Weee, Temporary FDFiends.

So what else I got about today in my last day of bliss? Well for lunch we got Poquito Mas, which is not poquito delicious. Okay, bad joke, I went for it. And I was in such a rush/so hungry I wolfed down my cheese heavy meal of mimi burritos, guac, rice & beans and cheeese cheeeeese cheeeese.

Here's something fun! (Ooo) the first part of the...pre-part of True Perfection came out today. haha. Basically since this project has been going on for so long we have a lot that we shot before we shot the actual show, a pilot, some pre-production videos. They're pretty rad, crude, and not nearly at the caliber of the actual show, but interesting nonetheless.

Besides that just work work work, True perfection, work work work. I did spend a lot of my afternoon caught up in Happy Holidays which was my first feature. I'm re-doing my website see and they needed information on it. and would you know, Facebook got rid of the group!! WTF facebook!! So now  I had to recreate another group for Happy Holidays, which you should totally check it out here! Happy Holidays FTW

As I'm writing this post fact, I'm kind of spacing on what my last cheese venture was...suffice to say I believe it to be super duper cheesy. OMNOMNOM

Sabrina by the luck of the draw one free tickets to The Temper Trap show at the Palladium which I mean, hey I like that one song...why not go?

So go we did, joining up with the slightly older crowd of hipsters who congregated together on a friday night to listen to a band that we had no idea what their deal really was. Well Sabrina knew, I did. I just went along for the jams...

I realized there I really do need to start going to more show's. Maybe I'll ask my imaginary boyfriend to take me to some. George Glass! get your ish together. And speaking of dating, Re-blogging Sammi's post here:

"How about the guy that ON THE FIRST DATE kept calling me "baby" and "darling" and every 3 minutes said "OMG you're so beautiful". And even when I thanked him for saying kind things, but expressed that he was making me feel uncomfortable and would he stop so we could actually HAVE a conversation.... kept doing it. And then after the date proceeded to "like" everything on my fb (I mean EVERYTHING... even comments I made on OTHER people's pages) and text me no less then 25 times per day.

OR the guy who tripped and fell flat on his face while getting coffee... and then couldn't get over. And kept bringing it up. And wouldn't let it die.

OR (my favorite) in college when I went out with this guy who picked me up, and WHILE DRIVING me to dinner admitted that he had forgotten about the date until 5 minutes before he was suppose to get me, and that he was high as fuck. Yeah. That went over well."

Yup, dating these days sure is a fun sport to play isn't it?

After the concert we went to The Well, and my review of it is a big F. The crowd was weird, the waiters were weird and the drinks were TERRIBLE. I don't even know what Sabrina got, suffice to say it was super gross. The only bonus was the music, but that could hold you for about 5 seconds.

We went for a post drink ritual to get some food. (well sabrina did, I was cheesed out) and I went to eat at The Waffle for the first time and Oh My God I am in LOVE. the ambiance of that place is Amazing!! You know when you walk in somewhere and you're like, Yup, I could spend some decent time here? That's how I felt. The servers were nice. The food looked great, this place gets a freaking A+++

Welp thus ends my life as a vegetarian...time to go to the dark (light?) side and save some animals.....

Oh noo.....

Layla Cam

3 days. THREE DAYS LEFT!!

Layla CAM!

Oh sorry, I didn't see you there.

Well we're winding down to the final home stretch of "I can't eat cheese." I almost wrote I can eat cheese, whoops Freudian slip! What can I do in this final stretch to overload on delicious dairy before I give it up forever? Should I chug a gallon of milk? No. Probably not. Should I snort cottage cheese? No probably not that either. I know what I can do though.....PIZZA FOR BREAKFAST. Tomato Pie. We've covered them. They're good people.

See this is where the insanity workout comes into play. Sure, I'm not doing the diet so I haven't dropped 20 pounds, but what I am doing is eating normally (maybe a little extra cheese) working out like a fiend, and not gaining any weight. WOAH. look at that equation right there.

Today was a relatively uneventful day. SO uneventful that I almost wonder if I should be blogging about it. Maybe I need to add more excitement to my work week. Maybe I should blog about boy things going on? ehhhh, I'll save that for later. In the mean time we can just make up a boyfriend.

I DO have to say though, match.com has proven very....interesting. Michele says I should blog about dating since I go on so many first dates. I thought that was a great idea, except for the fact I'd prefer to be going on second and thirds....speaking of bad first dates, there was one where I felt like the guy viewed relationships like a business transaction, like what is that? Or my favorite terrible date from many moons ago, some guy kept going on about how he owned hundreds of pairs of shoes, and how he just loved shoes so much. Then kept bragging about how he never got carded (this was before I was twenty one) brag brag brag, Not only do I fake illness as quickly as possible and run away, but I run off with shoeman's favorite jacket. Much to my horror he liked it enough to keep CALLING ME for 6 MONTHS after the fact. jesus christ dude, get over it. I wasn't interested and you're not getting the jacket back.

Hmmm....maybe that's not such a bad idea. Or try this. Write YOUR worst date story here, and we'll take it from there. Post the good ones. Sammi I'm looking at you.

Besides the fact that the rest of the day including the food that I ate was albeit busy, very uneventful, I made it through alive and thankful to have one more day where I can eat cheese, but sad that I was unable to help the cows as much as I could. Boo!

Tonight was yet another ADR session for True Perfection. I swear this stuff is neverending. It's always one thing that's left with this project! It's not that I mind doing it at all, it's quite the contrary, I love working on it. I just wish it were finished so that I could show it to the world!

End with CAT CAM

Jour Quinze

So I'm skipping yesterday's blog for two reasons, one I totally forgot to take photos and two I'm super behind and want to catch up on my veganism and not teeter out like I did last time!

I'll sum it up for you though, Film Production meeting (awesome), Photoshoot with Jason Corica (awesome), Watching madmen with Micah B (awesome), drinking one or two too many old fashions (awesome)(at the time).

I woke up Monday morning at 6AM on Micah's couch and without a hangover thank god. Because it turns out old fashions + Chips and guacmole + more old fashions + sauteed veggies + more old fashions = Drunkity DRUNK CRUNK DRUNK. ....who knew?

So I made my way home in walk of shame clothes from Not a Walk of Shame (I miss those days) home sweet home. To a still not purple wall.

Today for breakfast I decided to switch it up and go for some hipster vegan cereal. And low and behold I found out that Puffin's one of my favorite cereals is NOT Vegan. BooOoOOoOo. So instead went for some apple cheerios, fruit. YUM.

The big news for today is Sean is coming into town this weekend!!! yay!! So stoked to plan rio and have an all around blast with one of my favorite people. Chant it with me, rio. Rio. RIo. RIOO!!!!!

Today for lunch I ordered from Swingers, a place that I've been meaning to re-try for a while. I went once a million years ago for Trevor Cushman's birthday party at like 2AM and had a blast, but that was like three years ago. And I have to say, I was NOT let down.

And while we're on the subject: YOU'RE LIKE A BIG BEAR.

I got some vegan nachos, not because I necessarily wanted them, but because they were there. (and also because I ate fruit for breakfast.) and you know what. They were prrreettttty bomb. Not like blown away, socks knocked off like Hugo's, but still dank. Yeah, figure out those adjectives in zagat form.

And today is day 15, which makes it the halfway point of veganism! WOO! Go, Sassy, go! Go Vegan go! However, I do feel like I don't think I'm going to stick with this....there's just certain things I miss..like cheese....mmmm and eggs....mmmmm.....Although I DO think I'll continue blogging, it will just be about being a vegetarian instead of being vegan, I mean to the same effect right? It's still savin da animals!

Now I finally have the opportunity to talk about my french class....mostly because I have nothing dramatic to write about in this thing. ...OR that I care to share with the public (ooooo, maybe something IS going on that I'm not telling you about! TWIST)

Back to French. You might ask, why am I taking college classes? I'll tell you why. there's a trick that I'm totally okay with admitting that if you want to defer your student loans all you have to do is enroll in school part-time, so I have been attending Santa Monica college since finishing up at Chapman University in 2008. Wow look at me go, belonging to TWO universities, sooo smart! (not really, just broke. Well..kinda smart, but definitely broke.)

It has been shocking to me though, the level of education that the majority of the kids I interact with have had. It's really appalling. In one history class I took about half of the class didn't know what Pangaea is, and we're talking about grown adults here. And yet the government still wants to keep cutting funding for our education system. Yes, that's smart guys, just raise a breed of brainless sheep to be patriotic and vote for Sarah Palin.

In one of the classes that I was in, these two kids just sat in the back talking, almost OVER the teacher. Not only was it distracting, it was just remarkably rude. And the teacher just let it happen. Finally I was the one that turned around and told them to Shut the Fuck up (only slightly nicer then that.) I'm going to quit now, it just makes me so sad to think what this country is doing to the general population in denying them the education that they deserved.

But don't forget to vote for Mitt Romney this fall! We sure do NEED OUR EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TRIMMED.

On another note, did you know cell phones are totally allowed in classrooms now? Instead of writing down homework, kids do this.

WHERE'S MY PURPLE WALL!?!?!??
