Tree Leaves - 1 Day Left

We're here. The big LAST DAY. Last Day. Last Super. Last everything. Noooooooo. But I love the animals so much.

INSANITY WORK OUT DAY 42!! YAH P0WN IT. I'll tell you exactly what I did for breakfast too. Dairy McDairy Dairy. It was engligh muffin, some mayo, some cheese with crushed red pepper on it. Talk about delicious, YES PLEASE.

Today Michele is out which is super sad, but luckily I have Valerie to keep me company up front for the next couple days. Weee, Temporary FDFiends.

So what else I got about today in my last day of bliss? Well for lunch we got Poquito Mas, which is not poquito delicious. Okay, bad joke, I went for it. And I was in such a rush/so hungry I wolfed down my cheese heavy meal of mimi burritos, guac, rice & beans and cheeese cheeeeese cheeeese.

Here's something fun! (Ooo) the first part of the...pre-part of True Perfection came out today. haha. Basically since this project has been going on for so long we have a lot that we shot before we shot the actual show, a pilot, some pre-production videos. They're pretty rad, crude, and not nearly at the caliber of the actual show, but interesting nonetheless.

Besides that just work work work, True perfection, work work work. I did spend a lot of my afternoon caught up in Happy Holidays which was my first feature. I'm re-doing my website see and they needed information on it. and would you know, Facebook got rid of the group!! WTF facebook!! So now  I had to recreate another group for Happy Holidays, which you should totally check it out here! Happy Holidays FTW

As I'm writing this post fact, I'm kind of spacing on what my last cheese venture was...suffice to say I believe it to be super duper cheesy. OMNOMNOM

Sabrina by the luck of the draw one free tickets to The Temper Trap show at the Palladium which I mean, hey I like that one song...why not go?

So go we did, joining up with the slightly older crowd of hipsters who congregated together on a friday night to listen to a band that we had no idea what their deal really was. Well Sabrina knew, I did. I just went along for the jams...

I realized there I really do need to start going to more show's. Maybe I'll ask my imaginary boyfriend to take me to some. George Glass! get your ish together. And speaking of dating, Re-blogging Sammi's post here:

"How about the guy that ON THE FIRST DATE kept calling me "baby" and "darling" and every 3 minutes said "OMG you're so beautiful". And even when I thanked him for saying kind things, but expressed that he was making me feel uncomfortable and would he stop so we could actually HAVE a conversation.... kept doing it. And then after the date proceeded to "like" everything on my fb (I mean EVERYTHING... even comments I made on OTHER people's pages) and text me no less then 25 times per day.

OR the guy who tripped and fell flat on his face while getting coffee... and then couldn't get over. And kept bringing it up. And wouldn't let it die.

OR (my favorite) in college when I went out with this guy who picked me up, and WHILE DRIVING me to dinner admitted that he had forgotten about the date until 5 minutes before he was suppose to get me, and that he was high as fuck. Yeah. That went over well."

Yup, dating these days sure is a fun sport to play isn't it?

After the concert we went to The Well, and my review of it is a big F. The crowd was weird, the waiters were weird and the drinks were TERRIBLE. I don't even know what Sabrina got, suffice to say it was super gross. The only bonus was the music, but that could hold you for about 5 seconds.

We went for a post drink ritual to get some food. (well sabrina did, I was cheesed out) and I went to eat at The Waffle for the first time and Oh My God I am in LOVE. the ambiance of that place is Amazing!! You know when you walk in somewhere and you're like, Yup, I could spend some decent time here? That's how I felt. The servers were nice. The food looked great, this place gets a freaking A+++

Welp thus ends my life as a vegetarian...time to go to the dark (light?) side and save some animals.....

Oh noo.....

Crimped Hair

6 days left.

Six days of pure dairy bliss. Then I'm off to save the world or whatever it is I'm doing.

It hasn't really sunk in that I'm doing the diet switch as of yet.  I mean it is actually kind of heavy. Being vegan changes the way you view everything, peoples clothes, products, food, it's like you have to view the world in very specific (non animal product) glasses. Sure, it could be worse. I mean....doing this is not making me a little sad at all.....*insert my look of shame here for loving dairy products so much*

Today I started it off right and TOTALLY unhealthy, but I figure might as well get all the cheese in now that I can so maybe it's like storage and my body thinks this is what I'm actually digesting. But anyway, keep it simple, Cheese, avocado and greens sandwich. nomnom. Blah, being a vegetarian is so boring and easy.

And can we talk about fashion this summer? Cause I'm really excited about it. Lets see we have high waisted ankle cut pants (yes), vintage 50s style retro rockabilly is back!! (yes). And then my new favorite thing...CRIMPED HAIR. And I'm not lying, I will show you the fashion blogs: http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/beauty/galleries/11808/10/crimped-hair-crimped-hairstyles-crimping-crimp-hair.html#index=1

so HA, i'm not insane (well that's up for debate) and I'll crimp my hair if I want to!! Time for some hair experiment blogging

Next, I had to travel to the dark and distant land of the valley.

Honestly, I was more scared driving around up there then I am driving around downtown. And I'm not talking like cute Sherman Oaks, lets go to that other arclight valley, I'm talking THE VALLEY. like Dogs guarding houses that are falling apart VALLEY. a VALLEY I wish to not have to return to for a while.

The cause was good though, because it was to work on the edit of TRUE PERFECTION, which slowly but surely is coming along. Here's your True perfection photo of the day.

As I am about to give up cheesey cheesy cheese forever, for dinner I had a DELICIOUS veggie burger from Juicyburger, uhm YES please. lets talk about it, cheese, sautted mushrooms, onions, tomatos, lettuce, garlic Mayo, veggie patty = 5 pounds = I don't care = eff off.

Juicy burger is one of those amazing places that you should go to if you have a second, it's maybe not the best burger I've ever had (veggie burger) whatever, but it's def up there.

Let's go on an unrelated tangent here, Don't do drugs. Just don't. Lately it seems more and more of my friends are winding up on some kinda drug that's ruining their lives. And whatsmore, I don't see the appeal here. Like frying your brain and then wasting a whole bunch of money? Yeah sounds great to me....

So after a traumatic event, yes it had to do with drugs, no we were not the ones taking them, Sabrina and I just learned we never ever wanted to do them, and we were so scarred that we fled to the closest "normal" LA bar that we could find...if you can actually count bars in LA normal. We literally walked into five different ones, veto'd them then got the fuck out of dodge.

Settling on the ever mediocre Kitchen 24, we had some noms, drank some dranks and appreciated the vague normalcy that our lives and families have. Btw, true story, you get a free cupcake if you check in there on foursquare. There's your tip for the day.

6 days....6 days....til V day
