Hello world, I'm back and I'm vegan again! Well I will be on the 15th. Until then I will be mentally preparing, working my butt off and eating enough cheese to feed a forrest. No, town. City? Family. State?(who cares)
Why go vegan again? well.....why not? I mean this world is falling apart by the seams, Greece, Europe as a whole, the middle east, women's rights, my driveway gate....no really. My roomates car magically rolled into the back of it, plowing it over and sending it straight into the street. No one knows how or why, just that it happened and now my clicker doesn't work.
I'm on Day 37 of the insanity workout (ooo!) however today did NOT start with that as I was recovering from my date last night. Not in the sense that it was terrible (lets not forget guy who can't take a hint) but in the sense I had justtttt a little too much to drink. Not enough to ruin it, just enough for me to wake up and veto my 5:55 AM alarm.
It was somewhere between my vodka tonic and 5:55 though that I decided that it was time. I said I would and I will. Vegan. Vegan. Vegan.
Right now I'm spending the majority of my time running the social media for HELLO! & Company (http://www.twitter.com/HELLOANDCO) and working on True Perfection!! (http://www.facebook.com/TPerfectionshow) There's a lot I want to talk about with these things but CANT. Actually there's a lot I want to blog about in general but can't...as of yet....duh duh DUHHHH
Lets start here though. Because of my social media impact via Klout.com I won an electric car? I have the ? there on purpose because I'm still a tad confused about how I wound up with this beast, but here it is. My chevy Volt. All sexy and aimed to please.
And let me just say. oh. My. God. YES. I want one. I want it now. Whatever they did worked because I am going to be buying an electric car. Yeah that makes me one Vegan, Crimped hair, flower wearing, electric car driving motherfucker.
Sorry just had to pause there for a second and look up a Nissan Leaf. I'm 99.999999999% certain that this car is going to be my car. I have begun discussion with the parental units about this purchase, a few other outside factors are going to have to change first. But yup. That's my car.
For lunch we had Jersey Mike's, and since I was on the fence about starting to blog or not I didn't take a photo. Sorry Avid Fans. But I do have to say, Jersey Mike's is BOMB. as in THE BOMB. 90s slang necessary. If you can, go there. Do it now.
I got the veggie sub, add some pepperchini, pepper spread, extra onions, mikes way. YES PLEASE.
Sad day when I will not be able to order from Jersey Mike's, guess I should get my fix in now while I still can. And also now realizing I will be vegan on the fourth of july. Palm. To. Face. Oh well, I usually either don't celebrate or just have vegan hot dogs, so we're all good.
Also cool thing that happened today, I got my new business cards! Weeeeeee, Awesome design by Sydney Nichols as always.
After a busy day of running around and discussing drug problems with Micah, I met up with Blake down on the west side as this AWESOME bar called The Charleston. And I say AWESOME with much a hint of making fun, because this bar was almost indescribable.
At first it was super cool, the drinks actually are awesome! I got a version of a vodka arnold palmer and also some sort of vodka/mint/berry beer drink that was delicious. (yum yum) and Blake got a beer, some southern thing I forget the name of, and it came in a paper bag. Mason Jar's to hold the candles. Cute, the charleston, very cute.
Then this is when things get weird. And to remind you, this is on a WEDNESDAY night. So first the bros and ho's start pouring in, like literally a clown car of people ready to get down and party. I mean wtf is that? And then of course....there was Karaoke. Lots and lots of Karaoke. Thank god we got done all of our talking as this started or we'd have to keep listening to some guy with a sideways hat singing eminem. Some guy did say I looked like Faye Dunaway though.....so the night was a win.
Insert my blissful drive back in my electric car. Yup. Nissan Leaf.
